An incomplete medieval silver penny of Edward I (AD 1272 - 1307), class 10cf1 dating to AD 1305 - 1306. Mint of London. The coin is damaged and most of the legends on both faces and the initial mark are missing. The obverse has a bust, without a sceptre, with the drapery clearly delineated by two lines on either side. The neck is quite wide. The crown has a central fleur and bifoliate outer fleurs, with spears in between. The reverse has a long cross dividing the legend with 3 pellets in each quadrant.
