A copper alloy Roman coin; a sestertius of Nerva (96 - 98 AD), minted in Rome in AD 97. The reverse shows two mules grazing, one left, one right; behind are the shafts of a cart and harness. See RIC II, pp. 229-30, nos. 93/104. The coin is 33.7mm diameter, 4mm thick and 22.04g. Compare SWYOR-4CD743, BH-6AE9A1, IOW-FA2A67, IARCW-63DAFD0A6 and IARCW-63DAE2989D.

A Roman coin; a silver plated copper alloy contemporary copy of a denarius probably of Trajan (AD 98 - 117), probably dating from AD 112 - 117. The coin is corroded and much of the surface coating has flaked away, obscuring most of the detail. Possible standing figure on reverse. The coin is 18.1mm diameter, 1.8mm thick and 1.73g.
