The reverse is not the correct type for this coin which should be an oak leaf wreath enclosing the letters EXSC, with an inscription around the outside. This coin instead has a wreath enclosing a letter A[...] with a ring of pellets around the outside and no outer inscription. It is similar to some reverses of Claudius.

A very worn and incomplete silver denarius probably struck for Nero (AD 54-68) dating to c. AD 54-68 (Reece period 3). Reverse: uncertain, female figure standing right holding long sceptre in right hand and uncertain object in left hand. Mint of Rome. The coin is laminating badly and a small portion of one side is broken away in old damage.
