There is a lot of variety in the size of the letters and all are retrograde. A and N in particular are much bigger than the rest and run in to each other. On the reverse of the coin is the name of the moneyer Folcnoth in the form: + [F] O L C N O D M (the first O has a dot in the centre). On the reverse is the name of the moneyer Cuthheard, also around a central cross: CVDHARD +. The edges of both sides are beaded and the coin has a shiny patina. The dimensions of the styca are: 13.97mm in diameter and 1.18mm in thickness. The styca has a weight of 0.92g.
