Silver hammered shilling of Elizabeth I (1588-1603 AD). Dated 1567. Second coinage (1561-1582 AD). Coronet mint mark.
Obverse is heavily worn and the bust is unidentifiable. The legend reads [ELIZABETH D] G ANG [DRA ET HIB] REGINA.
Reverse depicts a quartered shield divided by long cross fournee with date above. Legend, within a circumferential pelleted border, reads POS[UI DEU AD]IUTORE[M MEU]. Some wear has rendered large parts of the legend illegible.

A complete sixpence from the reign of Elizabeth I (AD1658-1603)
North 1997, 2nd coinage, i.m. Pheon, 1561-5 (date above shiled illegible).
Obverse: ELIZABETH DG [A]... [RET?]H REGINA
The bust is no longer visible but there is a Tudor rose behind where the head would have been.
Reverse: POSVI DEV AD IV[T]OR... V
There is an English coat of arms overlaid with a long cross.
The coin weighs 2.8g, is 24.99mm in diameter and is 0.83mm thick.
