A single uninscribed East Anglian (Icenian) Iron Age silver unit of Face/horse regular type (Talbot's Late Face Horse type). ABC 1567, BMC 3605ff. The coin type was issued in the early first century AD in the East Anglian area (the area thought to have been inhabited by the people known as the Iceni during the late Iron Age) and is therefore local to the region. The coin is light for the unit series at 0.9g compared with the more typical 1.2g-1.3g. It appears base but visual examination found it to be silver.
