Incomplete and corroded silver penny of Edward I or II. Carl Savage (pers comm) notes that the incurved lettering on the reverse looks like it could be a Class 10, but possibly no later than a Class 10cf (c.1300-1310AD). Obverse has the crowned bust of the king facing. Only part of the legend is legible ED[…]. Reverse has a long cross with three pellets in each quarter, dividing the legend which is illegible.
