The obverse is worn and chipped along the edges, showing a slightly worn bust of Marcus Aurelius, bare-headed and draped facing right, with the inscription AVRELIVS CAESAR visible. The reverse is illegible.
This coin is similar to type RIC III Antoninus Pius 1360B in the OCRE database.
