A complete but worn copper alloy 2 Sols (24 Deniers) of Louis XVI of France (1774-1792), of an unclear date. Possibly a contemporary copy, the obverse legend is blundered, and the weight is a little low. The coin is dark silver in colour which may suggest a high tin content.

A copper-alloy Roman as of Severus Alexander (AD 222-235), possibly a contemporary copy (limesfalsum), dating to the period c.AD 222-235 (Reece period 11). Reverse type probably depicting Victory right holding shield fixed on palm tree? Prototype of the mint of Rome. cf. RIC IV.2 no. 506 for the possible reverse type. The light weight and appearance of this coin might suggest it is a cast contemporary copy (limesfalsum) rather than a very worn official issue.
