Radiate of Allectus (AD 293-296) (Reece Period 14), LAETITIA AVG, Laetitia standing left holding wreath and anchor. Mint unclear, but probably London, [ ] // (M?)L. On initial inspection the mintmark might appear as [ ] // CL, but this is highly unlikely as the obverse type (radiate, draped and cuirassed) was not used for the S P // CL issue. RIC V, pt 2, p. 560, cf. no. 22. This coin has been considered for Sam Moorhead's corpus for RIC.
