A worn and bent late medieval silver karolus of Charles VIII of France (1483-1498), Duplessy 593, dating to 1488, mint uncertain. Ref: Duplessy 1988.
The coin is chipped around the edge, worn and corroded, and was folded across the centre but is now straightened. The fold is also torn.
