A worn and slightly bent 14th-century silver medieval Brussels sterling 'au château branbançon' probably of Jean III (1312-55 AD), Duke of Brabant, struck at Brussels in c. 1318 AD. This coin has been clipped and has suffered a slight circumferential crack.

A worn, bent and cracked later 15th-century medieval silver coin: a double patard of Charles the Bold, Duke of Burgundy (1467-1477 AD), as Duke of Brabant. The coin has suffered a slight loss as a result of the cracking, as well as a punch to the reverse face (visible on the obverse).
