1.4g in weight and 19.0 in diameter.
It is slightly bent out of shape and no longer lies flat. It has been clipped between 5 and 11 O'clock looking at the obverse side. The surface is tarnished.

Class 3bc dating to AD 1248-1250. North no.987/1 (North 1994: 226). Moneyer is Nicole in Canterbury.
Obverse description: Crowned, round bust facing, with a beard formed of three pellets either side of a large pellet. No neck, no sceptre. HENRICUS REX III (note: only NR ligated)
Reverse description: Voided long cross with three pellets in each quarter. NIC/OLE/ONC/ANT

AD1301 - 1310. Class 10cf5, North 1043/1. Bury St Edmonds mint. 18.80mm, 1.4g.
Obverse: Crowned bust facing. Bifoliate crown, tall jewels with left fleur and jewel not completely distinct. Crown appears to be Crown 5 of class 10. King has bushy curly hair, pellet eyes and a large nose. Legend: EDWARANGLDNShyB. Large bold letters with late-type S. bold initial cross. The coin is clipped from 12 to 2 o'clock.
Reverse: Long cross dividing legend and with three pellets in each quarter.…

Reverse: Long cross with three pellets in each quarter. Legend: CIVI/TAS/LDN/DON. The O of London appears as a D.
