An incomplete silver 2 reales of Felipe III (1598-1621) of Spain, possibly from the Grenada mint. The coin is heavily clipped all round the edge removing any trace of inscription. The obverse has two small shields, the upper one with five pellets and the lower one with a central longitudinal line, mounted on to a large shield of the arms of Spain, all within a double linear border, which divides it from the legend that is missing. The reverse has a long cross with three pellets in each quadrant and a quatrefoil in the centre. The inscription would have read CIVI/TAS/EBO/RACI, but only the last four letters remain.
