Silver groat of Edward IV, Second Reign (1471-1483), Type XVIIIb (Brooke 5) with no fleurs on cusps on breast or above crown on obverse, initial mark pierced cross with pellet in third quarter (1477-1480), London mint, Spink 2098. There is a transverse bar on the copula or backwards 'Z' in the obverse legend and the random placing of suns and roses as reverse stops is typical but not universal in Type XVIII (Buck, 2000, 42).
