An extremely worn Iron Age silver unit of the Southern Region / Belgae , probably of Rudd's "Danebury Sunrays" type and dating to c.65 - 40 BC. Obverse: horned head facing right with corded lines behind face and for hair (?). Reverse:Horse advancing right with spiral sun/wavy-armed star above and wheel below. Cf. ABC 866; BMC 595-601; Van Arsdell 280.
