An Iron Age uninscribed gold uniface Gallo-Belgic stater (17.7mm, 6.0g) of Gallic War type, attributed to the Ambiani and dating to the mid first century BC. Obverse: plain. Reverse: sinuous horse, pellet below, pellets above, eye shaped motif behind. As ABC 16 / Mack 27, but with variations, particularly with the dotted linear ground beneath the horse on the reverse.
