A Merovingian gold tremissis; no parallel in Belfort or Prou. The mint is uncertain; the coin appears to read OTAREGCA but this does not match any known mint. The moneyer however is Deairenasea, who is also known from the mint Plailly, (Oise) France (see, for example, EMC 2007.0069). Late 6th or 7th century, c. 590-670 AD.
