A complete Early Medieval silver early penny (sceat) of Primary Phase Series W (type 54) dating to c AD 700-715. Obverse: Facing, standing, 3/4 length figure looking right, long wispy hair and jutting beard, holding long cross pommee either side in skeletal arms and fingers, skeletal legs, seems to be earing mailcoat (lorica hamata). Reverse: Cross crosslet on saltire cross, central pellet. Abramson (2006: 79), no. W220.
