Copper alloy possible coin. Styca, probably irregular issue. A round thick flan with a hammered obverse resembling that of the porcupine series E sceatta series; blank on reverse. The flan is thicker than that of most stycas seen by this reporter. Obverse description: Five concentric curls enclosing indeterminate features. Reverse description: Smooth. Suggested date: Early Medieval, 700-850. Diameter: 11.3mm, Thickness: 2.3mm, Weight: 1.73gms.
