Penny of Edward the Confessor 1048-1050. As North number: 818. NOTE: this is a modern forgery made of resin! It has been recorded to serve as a parallel for other coins likely to be made from the same dies. With the exception of its material, which feels light for a comparative thickness in silver and slightly waxy, all other elements of the coin appear legitimate.
