Description: Series E, Variety G2 quilled 'porcupine' type. Obverse: Coarse-quilled crescent right, triangular head with two pellets. There is a lot of variety in the size of the letters and all are retrograde. A and N in particular are much bigger than the rest and run in to each other. On the reverse of the coin is the name of the moneyer Folcnoth in the form: + [F] O L C N O D M (the first O has a dot in the centre).
