A base silver hammered coin dating from the Early Medieval period: a styca of Eanred of Northumbria (AD 810-840), Phase 1 (AD 810 - 835) struck at the mint of Northumbria by the moneyer Cunwulf (CYNVVLF). North (1994) Volume 1, number 186 on page 71. Obverse: EANRED REX retrograde and upside down around a central cross pattee, contained within beaded border. Reverse: CYNVVLF around central cross pattee, contained within beaded border. The coin is 13.3mm in diameter, 0.8mm thick, and 0.69g in weight.

An Early Medieval coin; a Northumbrian silver styca of Eanred dating from AD 810 - 835, Phase 1a or 1b, moneyer Eaduini (Eadwine). The central motifs are both Pirie's motif 5, a large pellet in a ring of pellets. Mint of Northumbria. The coin is 13.6mm diameter, 1.23mm thick and 0.95g.

The obverse has central annulet and pellet (type 6); the legend is clear and reads EANRED REX. The reverse also has a central annulet (type 6) and a clear legend of +DAECBERCT, who is the moneyer.

An early medieval copper alloy coin; a styca from Northumbria from either Pirie group B or C, dating from AD 810 - 835. Both obverse and reverse have a type 1 central cross. The legends are in large, clear letters where unworn; both legends are retrograde. The obverse reads +ERDVA(D)H; reverse reads +HVA[...]RD. The reverse legend may relate to the moneyer Huæetred (or Hwætræd). The obverse legend is unclear as to whom it may relate to, but Huæetred minted for Eanred (AD 810 - 840).

The coin is corroded but in good condition. This coin has been recorded from photographs and details kindly provided by the finder.
