Obverse: Quilled 'dolphin-shaped' crescent with pellet on body and pellet outline enclosing three bars. Reverse shows beaded standard with central anulet, opposing right angles and saltire. Possible pseudo-lettering around standard. There is damage to the coin, approximately one quarter of the circumference is chipped and material missing from the flan.
