Contemporary copy cliche coin of Tetricus I (271-4), reverse type unclear.
It is a mystery why someone went through the effort of copying a base metal coin in this way. Cliche coins are normally made of precious metals (gold and silver). This is unique and of great interest.

Modern Copy of a Copper alloy (brass by appearance) coin of 21mm diameter struck at the Phoenician colony of Ebusus on the Balearic Islands (Ibiza). Struck in the mid-3rd to early 2nd century BC.
