An incomplete Post-Medieval copper alloy 1 Maravedis of Philip II of Spain 1556-1598. Obverse depicts the crowned monogram of King Philip II with T in left field. Reverse depicts castle with towers and an annulet above the letter T in the left field. Mint of Toledo. The coin has been heavily clipped around its outer flan. Diameter: 14.50mm, Thickness: 1.28mm, Weight: 1.2g. Calico, F., Calico, X. and Trigo, J. (1982), Monedas espanolas desde Felipe II a Isabel II, Anos: 1556 a 1868. P 68, Type 377.
