Description: This is a Ryal of the First Reign light coinage (AD 1465-1470), probably minted at Norwich, Mint Mark 'N' in waves.
Obverse: Crowned king in medieval ship with rose on hull, holding sword and Royal Arms, the inscription reads 'EDWARD DI GRA REX ANGL FRANC DNS YB'.

The fragment consists of a part of the outer edge (probably around 15% of the overall edge) extending towards the field where a portion of the design survives. The breaks along each side are ragged and uneven.
