A fragment from a silver Roman siliqua of unclear type, possibly Julian II (AD 355-363) and perhaps dating to the period c.AD 360-363 (Reece period 18). VOT/[]/MVLT/[] reverse type depicting the legend within a wreath. The bust appears to be bearded, which suggests Julian rather than one of the later Theodosian issues.
Die axis: 6 o'clock. Small broken two-thirds of the coin only. Worn with a dark grey patina. The coin fragment is 13.03mm long, 9.51mm wide, 1.3mm thick and weighs 0.6g.
