Complete silver long cross coin of Edward III florin type 4, AD1344-1351, London Mint, North number 1116. The obverse shows a bust front, slightly worn. Legend: EDW' R' ANGL' DNS' [HY]B'. The reverse shows a long cross with three pellets in each section. Legend: CIVI/TAS/LON/DON. There is some slight damage (where part of the coin is missing) along the rim of the coin at two points, but is otherwise in good condition.

Roman contemporary plated copy of a silver siliqua of Julian I (355-363), VOTIS V MVTLIS X reverse (legend in wreath), copying the Trier mint mark.
About a quarter of the coin is missing to an irregular break along one side and some of the copper core has corrosed away. The silver outer layer is cracked in places and copper corrosion has leached though to the surface.
