An Iron Age silver unit of the North Thames region, the Catuvellauni and Trinovantes, c.AD 10-40.
Description: This unit was struck for Cunobelin and is of the hunting dog type.
Obverse: CVN in central panel; rosette with centrl pellet above.
Reverse: Dog left. There appears to be an additional pellet between the dog's tail and its haunches, compared to the example in ABC.
Measurements: Diameter: 14.44 mm; Thickness: 1.46 mm; Weight: 1.29 g.

The coin is slightly worn with some abrasion around the circumference and is struck off centre with plain parts of the flan visible on both obverse and reverse.
