A worn Roman copper-alloy nummus of the House of Constantine - CONSTANTINOPOLIS / Victory standing left on prow, holding sceptre and shield - dating to c. AD 333-4 (Reece Period 17). Probably mint of Trier. RIC VII, p. 218, cf. no. 554.  Coin has small flan, and has been off-struck slightly left, leading to loss of part of obverse design and legend. Dimensions :  Diameter 16.2 mm, thickness 1.6 mm, and weight 2.0 gm.  Die Axis 12 o'clock.
