A silver hammered coin attached to a piece of lead. The coin is cracked round the edges and half of one side is firmly attached to a sub-circular piece of lead. The coin seems to be attached by the lead corrosion that has developed. The coin is very worn and is totally illegible, but it appears to be medieval in date. The lead is bent so that it lies against the half of the coin to which it has fused, but then bends back away from the coin at a forty five degree angle.
