An incomplete lead Post Medieval contemporary copy of a farthing of George II (AD 1727-1760). Britannia depicted seat on the reverse with the date, 1746, in exurge. Compare to Spink 3720. London mint. Spink (2000: 356). Coin is much chipped around the edge. Overall dimensions: 22.23mm in diameter, 1.85mm in thickness and 4.90g in weight.

Copper alloy sestertius of Julia Mamaea, dating to AD 222-35 (Reece Period 11) with obverse IVLIA MAMAEA (AVGVSTA), diademed and draped bust right. Mint of Rome. It is 26mm in diameter and 2.5mm thick. Set into a rectangular lead piece with dimensions 55mm by 45mm with a thickness of 5 to 9mm.  The total weight is 207g. There is possibly another bent disc on the top edge, to the left-hand side. The function of the piece remains a mystery.

A contemporary copy of an 18th century silver Portuguese coin; probably a 200 reis coin of Ioannes V dating from 1706 - 1750. The coin is crudely cast in lead and there is a bend and crack in the flan. The reverse of the coin is almost worn smooth. Measurements; diameter 27.7mm, thickness 2.8mm, weight 14.58g. Small lead disc, stamped on both faces using a sceatta, on one face a cross, on the other what may be a bust, probably produced using a series D type 2c, c. AD.675-750. The function of this unusual object is unknown. In the post medieval period, dies of lead stamped in this way using Nuremberg jettons are known and are generally classified as weights. This object may perhaps have had a similar function.

A lead discoidal artefact, possibly a cast copy of a Roman nummus dating from AD 364 - 410. It is 14mm in diameter and 4mm thick. It weighs 5.29g. One face is flat and the other is slightly convex. Both are exceedingly worn. If it is a copy of a Roman coin, it is possibly imitating a nummus of the House of Valentinian, dating from AD 364-375, Gloria Romanorum reverse type (Reece Period 19).
