This coin, which survives in good condition, with little wear or corrosion, is classifed by Van Arsdell as a Late Whaddon Chase Type 1558-1 (1989; pp. 348) and has a suggested date of c.45-40 BC. It is British Museum type 376 (R. Hobbs; 1996; pp. 65). It measures 12.7mm in diameter, 1.3mm thick and weighs 1.17g.

Hobbs; 1996; pp. 65); Van Arsdell describes it as a Middle Whaddon Chase Type, no. 1546-1, and suggests a date of c. 45-40BC (1989; pp.347). The remaining coin is in good condition, with little wear or corrosion. It measures 12mm in diameter, 1.4mm thick and weighs 0.64g.

John Talbot comments: I have re-looked at this coin and have now worked out that the obverse die is C - therefore it is a well known die link C 2 within the LFC group.
