VOTA [SOL DECENN II/SVSCEPTA DEC III] COS IIII, S C, reverse type depicting Antoninus Pius standing left sacrificing over an altar. Mint of Rome. cf. RIC III, pp. 152-153, nos. 1026-1028, 1042. The coin is missing approximately one third of the flan. Given the size and weight of the coin it is likely to be an as rather than sestertius of this type (cf. RIC III, p. 150, no. 1008ff).
