An incomplete clipped, worn and damaged half real coin of Ferdinand V and Isabella I of Spain from the reign of the Reyes Catolicos (1469-1504), Likely issued between 1475 and 1504. The coin is heavily worn, cracked and bent. Uncertain mint, though the mark appears to be an A above a grid, possibly representing a portcullis or a griddle. A fragment of a silver post-medieval shilling of Edward VI (1547-1553), unclear mint, 1549-1550 (North 1918/1-1925). Two segments have been removed from the coin leaving a roughly triangular piece, which encompasses most of the central area of the coin along with part of the inscribed edge. The coin appears to have then been rolled up, but a recent break has caused the last segment to separate from the rest of the coin, leaving it in two pieces.
