Allen (2022, appendix B, p.191) lists Alfred as a London moneyer for this type.

An early medieval silver early penny (sceat) of Secondary Phase 'Victory' type (BMC Type 22) dating to c.AD 710-25. Refs: Metcalf 1994: p.440-3, pl. 21 nos 350-1 (esp. 350); Abramson 2006: 32 and 81.
The coin is chipped around much of th edge and there is evidene for some copper corrosion on the obverse surface.
The coin is very similar in style to one found at Bawsey, Norfolk (Metcalf 1994: p. 442, no 5.
Obverse: Winnged, tuniced figure walking right, symbols in front.
Reverse: Facing, winged figure standing in a boat-shaped curve, cross beneath each wing.
