A very worn copper alloy sestertius, possibly of Antoninus Pius (AD 138-161), dating to the period AD 155-156 (Reece period 7).  Reverse very worn, but depicts standing figure, possibly Providentia standing left, pointing with right hand at large globe and holding sceptre.

Incomplete Roman Coin. The coin is incredibly worn making it difficult to depict the legends and busts in full detail. The coin's edge is distorted. Possibly As of Antoninus Pius (AD138- 161). Obverse: Bust looking right. Bust has no beard. The legend is not visible.May be slight evidence of the Laureate.  The bust is raised compared to the rest of the surface.
