A silver denarius of the Emperor Vespasian. The obverse has a laurelled bust facing right surrounded by the inscription [IMP]CAESAR VESPASIANVS AV[G]. The reverse is less clear and covered in a dark patina, but appears to show a tripod with s-shaped mark above and similar to the right, and the only letters visible are [ ]COS[ ] in the upper right quadrant.
Diameter 18 mm, thickness 1.5 to 2mm, weight 2.62 g.
