An incomplete base silver Roman denarius of Plautilla (AD 202-205), dating to the period c.AD 202-205 (Reece period 10). Possibly VENVS VICTRIX reverse type depicting Venus bare to waist, standing left, holding apple and palm and resting left elbow on shield: at her feet left Cupid. Mint of Rome. cf. RIC IV.1 no. 369.  The coin is incomplete, with approximately half of the flan missing, and appears slightly base although seemingly not plated to judge from the images. It measures 1.14g in weight, 18.64mm in length, and 11.22mm in width.

A fragment of a Roman silver coin: a denarius probably of Plautilla (wife of Caracalla), dating to AD 202 - 205. (Reece Period 10). Uncertain reverse type, probably CONCORDIAE AETERNAE or PROPAGO IMPERI reverse type showing Caracalla, togate, standing left, clasping right hands with Plautilla, draped, standing right. Mint of Rome. The remaining portion is 16.1mm long, 12.3mm wide and 1.9mm thick. It weighs 0.93g. Compare RIC IV Caracalla 361 (denarius) and RIC IV Caracalla 362 (denarius), as well as KENT-ECF158 and LEIC-B89BDD.
