A heavily clipped silver Post-Medieval halfcrown of Charles I (AD 1625–1649) dating to AD 1641-3. Equestrian portrait, Group IV, fourth horseman. Garnished round shield reverse. Possibly triangle in circle initial mark. Mint of London. North (1991, 159) No.2214. Obverse description: King on horseback left  Obverse inscription: CAROLVS DG MA BR FRA ET [HI REX] Reverse description: Oval garnished shield Reverse inscription: CHRISTO AVSPICE REG[NO] Diameter 33.34 mm,  weight 14.37g.
