A copper alloy Roman nummus, probably of the House of Valentinian dating to the period AD 364 - 378 (Reece period 19). Probably GLORIA ROMANORVM reverse type depicting the emperor advancing right holding standard and dragging captive. Uncertain mint. the coin has been pieced with a worn circular piercing produced by unclear method near the edge at 7 o'clock on the obverse and 11 o'clock on the obverse. The hole has worn thorugh to the edge.
