Silver coin. A small denomination silver coin, very worn, of a value over threepence and equal to or less than sixpence in the early post-medieval period. The flan is bent, though not so neatly as is usually the case with a coin modified as a keepsake. A plain cross and a small more complex but indeterminate mark are stamped onto one side of the flan. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1550-1700
