Obverse shows a Crowned bearded bust facing. Reverse shows a long cross fourchee over Royal shield, lis in forks. Reverse legend reads [...]CIVI/[TAS/BRIS]/TOLIE. Some of the coin is missing, resulting in an incomplete legend.

An incomplete Medieval silver plated contemporary forgery of a groat of probably Edward III (1327-77) dating to c.1351-77.
A copper-alloy core is visible with traces of a green patina and the obverse appears to be of billon and is illegible. The reverse is slightly better quality silver and is marked as mint of London.
Diameter 26.5mm, thickness 0.8mm, weight 2g.
