A Medieval silver very clipped and worn long cross penny, probably of Henry VI, first reign (AD 1422-1461) or perhaps of Edward IV, first reign (AD 1461-1470). Most likely Henry VI Leaf-Pellet or Cross-Pellet type, dating to AD 1445-1460. Mint of York. There is an extra pellet in the first and third angles on the reverse. North (1991: 80) no. 1510 or ibid. The coin is clipped all the way to the inner ring on the obverse so none of the legend is visible; the reverse is stuck off-centre so some of the legend can be seen.
