An uninscribed Iron Age silver unit (13.1mm, 1.18g) of the Southern region / Regini and Atrebates to c. 60-20 BC. The coin corresponds to Bean’s (2000, 232) Qs-T1-6 type, which has a distribution in Sussex and Hayling Island. Obverse: head, right, with ten crescents for hair. Reverse: horse, right, with crude lyre below and wheel above. Cf ABC 650 / 839 var. Bean, S.C. 2000. The coinage of the Atrebates and Regni, Oxford.

A worn Iron Age silver unit of the Southern Region / Belgae dating from c. 65 - 40 BC, unlisted in ABC. Obverse: Helmeted head left with two J-shaped locks of hair. Reverse:Horse advancing right with spiral sun above and two dot-in-pellet motifs in front. Below the horse's front leg are three dot-in-pellet motifs with a fourth below the hoof.
