An incomplete silver coin depicting Antoninus Pius (AD138-161) dating to AD 140-143. The obverse has a bust facing right, crowned reef; ANTONINVS AVG [PIVS P P TR P COS (II or III)]. The reverse has a figure, helmeted, in military dress, standing, front, head left, holding a spear vertical in one hand and a parazonium in the other. Inscription reads VIR[TVS AVG].

A complete copper-alloy sestertius of Roman date, probably struck for Antoninus Pius or Marcus Aurelius dating c. 138-180 AD. Reece period 6, mint of Rome. Reverse; illegible. The coin is preserved in very poor condition with most of the surface having flaked away through corrosion, though enough survives of the portraiture to make a tentative attribution.
