A highly worn and clipped Medieval silver long cross halfpenny possibly of Edward IV (1461-1483), second reign dating to 1471-83. York mint. Both sides have missing legends. Possible reference Withers & Withers 2004, Halfpennies and Farthings, Edward IV-Henry VII: Type 9, page 33 no. 9, pellets by shoulders. North Vol II, 2000: 1667.
