Very worn- corrosion can be seen through the darker areas on the coin. Edges are damaged and irregular. Coin is misshapen

Legend: Due to ware, it is very difficult to read what the legend says, R'ANG can only be depicted,
Reverse: Again very worn. The cross and dots are very worn.

A Medieval silver continental imitation of a Long Cross penny of Henry III (AD 1216-1272). A match could not be found in North's (1996) analysis of continental forgeries of voided long cross pennies.
Obverse: [].VC[]ON[] Crowned bust facing without sceptre.
Reverse: CIL[]/OND/CN/I[] Voided long cross with three pellets in each quadrant.

A slightly worn, broken and incomplete later 13th-century base silver medieval farthing of Edward I, Class 1a, London mint (1279 AD; Withers Type 1a; North 1051/1).
This coin is in two parts, one equating to around three-fifths of the coin, the other to around one quarter. The remainder of the coin has been lost as a result of old damage. The measurements given below relate to the larger piece; the weight is a combined value.
