A gold Roman solidus of Honorius (AD 395-423), dating to the period c.AD 395-402 (Reece period 21). VICTORIA AVGGG reverse depicting the emperor standing right, holding a standard and victory-on-globe with his foot on a fallen captive. Mint of Milan: M D//COMOB. Hoxne no. 42; RIC X, p. 318, no.1206. Measurements: diameter: 21.59mm; thickness: 1.28mm and weight: 4.55g.
